When you open the door to my kitchen this is what you’ll see. A thermomix or two in action, lots of freshly baked goodies and naturally locally sourced ingredients.
My story with Thermomix goes back a long way. Since I was a young child there has always been a thermomix in our kitchen. Not wanting to give my age away, my mother bought her first one in the 1970’s. I remember her always making soup in it and I thought she was the best soup maker in town! My own children have been brought up with the thermomix and we now have two taking pride of place in our kitchen.
My TM 31 has been with me the whole time on my culinary journey which began 17 years ago. It started with me baking my children’s birthday cakes which led to a successful bespoke cake business followed by a baking school. This in turn led me to a career in food photography where I am currently working today. You can catch me at The Gourmet Lens when I am not in my kitchen!
I love cooking with locally sourced ingredients so if you don’t find me at my nearest farmer’s market then you will probably find me foraging elderflowers or wild berries to use in my cooking! It’s all about the ingredients. Food styling is one of my passions so every recipe is not only cooked with love but also styled with it too!

I use naturally sourced ingredients in all my recipes. I try to avoid refined sugar but on the odd occasion a certain recipe may call for it. It is usually on special occasions where a sugar substitute just doesn’t work but I promise to keep it to a minimum! For all recipes check out my Thermomix Recipes Page where I’m sure you’ll find something you will love.
Originally from Ireland and living in Spain (with a lot of the year spent in Ireland too!) I am influenced by fused flavours of the Mediterranean and Ireland. I hope to inspire you and show you how easy it is to make delicious meals in your Thermomix and wow your friends and family!
