Like many out there I like to cook, and had recipes scattered around my house, on my computer, cut from newspapers and magazines, scribbled on paper, and stuffed in drawers. I long wanted to get organized and Door to My Kitchen is the way I decided to do it. As someone who goes to the market just about every day, how cool it is to have the recipes I use available from my iPhone, because often that daily trip happens without my quite having decided what I'm going to make for dinner. Now I can look through the Door to My Kitchen to help me decide. And while cooking, I just need to open my laptop, or wake up my phone, to have those recipes available.

We all have favorite food websites, but scouring websites with hundreds of thousands of recipes is not something I want to do every day. Mostly, I prefer to use recipes from my own collection. But my favorite sites are listed here too, along with RSS feeds I like, because we cooks love browsing through them.

So while this website is mainly for my personal use, it is dedicated to cooks everywhere who want easy access to their recipe collection, in the kitchen or out.
